News LMBO

We are very satisfied to be able to announce to you the success of the LMBO project, carried out by our management team, responding directly to the entrepreneurial spirit that has inspired EUROGERM ever since it was first created.

2021 begins a new stage in the life of EUROGERM. After 32 years devoted to the business that he founded in 1989, Jean-Philippe Girard wanted to sell while ensuring that the adventure continues fully in line with the spirit and values of the group that he created. The acquisition of EUROGERM is effective as from 29th April.

The company taking over includes the French investment fund NAXICAP PARTNERS as majority shareholder alongside minority shareholders amongst which are Jean-Philippe Girard, Unigrains, the Japanese Group Nisshin and several company managers. The possibility of becoming shareholders has also been proposed to all staff members, showing the firm desire to involve the greatest number possible in this new challenge.

EUROGERM’s history is above all a human adventure, a collaboration of people, united by the same desire for engagement, understanding customers and innovation and a common passion for the wheat-flour-bread-patisserie sector.

The 1989 start-up has been transformed through all its projects, meetings and unconditional support from all – customers, partners or employees – into a group with an international reach, which has been able to prove its resilience and growth potential time and again.

This new step is fully in line with the course that EUROGERM has been following for several years now: the development of innovative, creative and sustainable products in France and internationally; a support programme made up of training, technical services and assistance; the deployment of a CSR approach.

The Group corporate strategy is based on an ambitious growth plan. The production of innovative, natural ingredients, the pursuit of international production sites and acquisitions with the aim of diversifying the product range together form the three key guiding principles.

With respect to governance, Benoît Huvet, Vice Chairman, to whom we offer our gratitude for his commitment over the last 25 years, is leaving the Group. The plan is to replace him over the course of the next 12 months. Jean-Philippe Girard, Chairman, will remain involved in the management of the company, supported by a senior management team, made up of project leaders: Sébastien Jollet, Yannick Le Moteux, Serge Momus and Edouard Navarre.

Full of determination and confidence for the future, we would like to assure you of our total commitment to remaining at your side and we are available for any questions or additional information.

You can count on us as “TOGETHER, WE WILL SUCCEED”
