Recruitment

I have applied online, how can I follow up the status of my application?

All applications are subject to a careful review and receive a reply, whether negative or positive. When your application is successful, an interview is set up with the manager of the department concerned.

Will I receive feedback following my interview?

As for applications, each interview is followed by a reply, whether to provide reasons for a negative response, whether to set up a second interview or to start off the recruitment process.

What does the recruitment process consist of?

After passing the candidate selection and interview phases, the future staff member is invited in to commence the administrative part of their recruitment. On arrival at the company, they commence an integration and training pathway so that they can become as quickly as possible a full “Eurogermian”.

In how many countries does EUROGERM sell its products?

Whether via our subsidiaries or directly, plus than 60% of our turnover is export and we sell our products and services in more than 80 countries spread out over all the continents.

Is it possible to visit the company?

We work with professionals in the wheat-flour-bread-patisserie sector. Visits are reserved for our customers, notably within the framework of training, innovation and product co-development days.

What products does EUROGERM SELL?

We sell technological, sensory and nutritional ingredients and solutions destined for our customers in the wheat-flour-bread-patisserie sector. Our products are not consumed as they are but are incorporated during production of our customers finished products in order to give uniformity, crustiness or softness and for personalisation as regards taste, colour and visual appearance.

How can you give assurance that there are no foreign bodies in your products?

All our raw materials undergo a systematic control on arrival. Our production lines are equipped with specific equipment for detecting foreign bodies: filtration cones, grills/sieves, bar magnets, metal detectors…Controls take place at the start of each shift.

Are EUROGERM products the same throughout the World?

No. We sell our ingredients and solutions directly or through our subsidiaries and local partners, which allows us to offer a range that corresponds to the specific requirements of local markets: Act global, eat local. EUROGERM’S DNA is based on its tailored offer, of which the key characteristic is the ability to adapt to each customer’s expectations and brief.

Does EUROGERM sell its products to individuals?

We only work B to B. Our range is made up of intermediary products, which cannot be consumed in their current state and are not for sale directly to individuals.

What services does EUROGERM offer?

Since its creation, EUROGERM has placed the customer at the centre of activities, by offering a customised range of products/services. The services that we offer go from the diagnosis through the medium of specific analyses, to supporting each customer globally: training, co-development, technical assistance on site.

What is the ARPEGES centre of expertise?

Thanks to the four ARPEGES divisions – co-development, training, innovation, incentive, ARPEGES helps customers to optimise their recipes, develop a new range, create tomorrow’s innovation, train and motivate their teams.

What training programmes does the ARPEGES expertise centre offer?

The training offered by ARPEGES cover a range of business subjects and are suitable for professionals working in the wheat-flour-bread-patisserie sector: From wheat to bread, Regulations and labelling, enzymes in bakery, sensory evaluation…. 

What is CRÉALIM?

CRÉALIM is a subsidiary of the EUROGERM Group, which is specialised in the formulation and manufacturing of customised product ingredients for the sweet and savoury patisserie sector. It sells in particular mixes for making cold and warm baker’s custards, sponge, bechamel, savoury and sweet fillings.

What is the sensory evaluation centre?

Because the consumer is a « Person » of taste, the sensory evaluation centre acts as the link between the professional and the consumer. Expert or lay juries test the products, the sensations experienced are then translated into objective and measurable criteria which will enable the sensory profile of a product to be determined, the characteristics of several products to be compared, the physical and organoleptic changes to be controlled.

What are the measures taken by EUROGERM against covid-19?

As company operating in the industrial food sector, the EUROGERM Group has been developing since its creation a robust quality, traceability, food and human safety policy, which includes a detailed crisis management procedure. Since the start of the covid-19 crisis, we have put in place drastic measures, over and above the government recommendations: physical distancing, wearing a mask, disinfection and handwashing, remote working, adapting working hours and rotating teams…

Are there allergens in the EUROGERM products?

Managed within the quality and food safety framework, the use of allergens is highly regulated: special production runs, cleaning, labelling, stocks kept apart. A monitoring plan sets out the controls of raw materials and the finished products made from them.

How does EUROGERM reduce the risk of accidents at work?

Our teams all benefit from their own personal protection equipment and are regularly trained and made aware of the risks of accidents in the workplace. And complementary to this, there are numerous on-site adaptations carried out to prevent potential risks.

Are EUROGERM products food for the health?

The products sold by EUROGERM are not consumed as they are but are incorporated into our customers’ products. In order to guarantee their quality and safety, our solutions are controlled at the time of production and conform to the norms applicable in each country where they are sold. We endeavour daily, especially via the formulation of our ranges, toward a better diet. With this in mind, we offer our customers organic and clean label products and nutritional solutions all in accordance with our vision: to feed a better future.

How is EUROGERM helping to stop the child labour?

Since 2011 we have been members of the Global Compact and its 10 principles grouped around 4 principles priorities: human rights and rights in the workplace, environmental protection, the fight against corruption. The Group commits its subsidiaries, suppliers and partners to respect these principles, this commitment forming part of a formal ethical charter covering practices respecting the environment and each other, including the respect for national and international rulings concerning forced labour and child labour.

What humanitarian causes is EUROGERM committed to around the world?

Environment

How does EUROGERM manage its waste?

All our waste is classified and accounted for in categories. The collection and sorting systems are the worked out according to the kind of products to be discarded: cardboard, big-bag, paper, plastic, by-products, organic waste. Our objective consists in continuously improving our practices by minimising non-recyclables and adding more value to our waste and by-products.

How does EUROGERM transmit its sustainable development values to its employees?

The objectives relating to Sustainable Development are written into the company global strategy and a review of the CSR objectives and the Global Compact actions is communicated to the whole staff every year. Different initiatives make it possible to share and mobilise this dynamism internally by involving everybody in improvement projects: removing plastic cups, organising paper collection days, carbon challenge…
